Great Uprising is the general term for the Moredhel invasion of the Kingdom, in Silverthorn and Darkness. Originally, there were to be two books, Magician, about the Riftwar, and Darkness, about the Great Uprising. And as publishing/fate took a hand, things changed. Historically, the Riftwar and the Great Uprising are separate events, even though a few nobles and highly placed individuals (and the readers) know they are related events.
