What is Crydee like?

The town is on a harbor, overlooking which is a large hill, upon which sits the castle. So, the town is to the west of the castle, and it's seperated from Crydee village by a short road and some meadows and woodlands.

It was not uncommon, historically, for a situation to arise like this. Not all castles lent themselves to having villages, towns, or cities grow up around them. Crydee was originally a fishing village, the castle came later, and it was built on the best location around, which was a short distance from the village.
