FeistDate: 29 May 2008 It's a mismash.  I intentionally ignore technology as magic tends to stile it a bit.  Roldem is more like the Renascence, while the Far Cost is more late 13th, early 14th century Europe.  It's too easy to get trapped into the whole "make it like Earth" thing and I've had arguments with other writers who want to scold me because I got the history "wrong."  Excuse me?  It's my freakin' world, and I'll put rapiers and longswords together if I want!
