You said, "Why didn't we see. . . " and named a bunch of characters. The answer was what it was, do you want cameos of every character ever featured? Obviously not, but the issue is one that remains in the forefront of my thinking when I'm working on a story: who is featured, who is not, and who gets mentioned and if so, why they should in the first place.
