Why are Paperbacks are available in Export Markets before DomesticFrom: Raymond E. Feist As for Australia, they don't get the same books as the UK. They get "export editions," which are slightly different (small change in cover art, like a box around the lettering or some such--internal control to make sure books sold at once price are credited back at the same price) than the "domestic edition" which is what you lot in Old Blighty get. On sale date of the export is always earlier than the domestic. Best, R.E.F.
