All Midkemian cultures are based on Earth cultures, as this is the only planet I've lived on.

I'm keeping Midkemia away from Earth. It exists out there some place, in the past or future, I don't know which, etc.

Mostly because I think if I ever did a "Pug goes to Earth" story or some such, the reality break would be too jarring.

And then I'd have to deal with someone on this list saying, "Well, why doesn't Pug go to some Russian arms merchants and get a low level tactical nuke to use on the forces of evil . . .?

You lot can be so irritating at times.
