Book Tours

When Raymond E. Feist tours, they are announced on the Feistfans-l Mailing List, they are also normally announced in this section shortly after. Please do not ask if Raymond E. Feist can come to your town, as in his own words, 'I have nothing to say about where they send me' (referring to his publishers). If you want him to visit your town, lobby your bookseller to contact the publisher, thats the way it gets done.

The following includes events that have been scheduled, they may have come and gone, but are here for your reference. New, and provisional events, will be added as and when they are known, they will appear towards the top of the list.

Occasionally, although not on a Book Tour, Ray may attend and participate in Other Events. In some cases these may include a book signing.

It is advisable to contact the store or event organisers to verify details such as dates/times, and if there is a requirement to book in advance.

Please do not contact us,  to ask for more information on upcoming events shown below. If the information is not already here, then we do not know, and it probably doesn't even exist yet.

Raymond E Feist Italy Bound

Ray posted

OK. I've accepted the invitation to visit Italy, specifically the Lucca Comic Festival which I believe starts October 30th and runs to November 3rd. I likely should be visiting Milan and Rome after that. Specific details will be posted here when we've finalized everything, and obviously it will be a few months before my appearance schedule details will be known. I will keep you updated.

Brisbane 2018

Ray just posted.

Brisbane

We are limited to max 3 hours of talk & signing tomorrow, as the facility will close at 9:45

With more than 1,400 tickets already claimed, we may have to severely limit signatures to as few as one book, so my advice is do not bring more than 3 books, as it's a given I will not have time to linger to sign large collections. I won't know until we see how many people actually show up if we can do more. This is what is known as an embarrassment of riches.

Sweden Book Tour Dates 2018

Ray just posted on the 2018 Sweden Tour.

So, tour news for the UK & Sweden. While these are "final" keep in mind that weather, illness, and running from international gangsters and lizard aliens may alter some details, so check just before the event to make sure I'll be there, rather than lying face down in a pub stall somewhere else.

I'll update the times on the Swedish talks when I have that info.

Now, some stores will charge a fee, often applicable to the cost of a book. Some require reservations. So, I'd wait a bit, say early April, then take a peek at their website, or give them a jingle and find out what the details are. I will also add info as I get it, but at this point I'm usually the last to know.

Admin Note: Check with stores for their exact address. Also where it states Talk, there is often a signing afterwards. Check with the store. Can you bring your own books, again check with the store, most often you can, but good manners dictates you buy the latest book at the store.

Sunday 29th April

TALK: The English Bookshop, Uppsala

Monday 30th April

TALK: Science Fiction Bokhandeln, Stockholm

Tuesday 1st May

TALK: Science Fiction Bokhandeln, Gothenburg

It is almost certain I will be touring Australia in June 2018.

It appears we will not be doing the usual stopover in New Zealand this
time, but I should be back to visit soon after.
