How much input did Janny Wurts have in sculpting the every day life of the Tsurani?

Janny's contribution was huge.  She's a painter and she had visited Korea and had so many ideas that fleshed out the culture.  What I had done in the Rifwar as give the Tsurani a slight depth of culture, but kept it pretty much from Pug's point-of-view (or Laurie and Kasumi, a little) and that allowed me to treat the Tsurani like "aliens," with a Kingdom pov dominated.  With the Empire series, I had to go deep within the culture and Janny had so many good ideas.  I never would have written the wedding scene, or the scene in Mistress where Mara goes among the Thuril and the Cho-Ja.

It was a true collaboration.
