Book titles are odd things. Some are obvious and others hide until the author hits a point in the work where it suddenly presents itself. My first book's working title was Riftwar. My editor thought it was "Too Science Fiction sounding for a fantasy novel." Having a degree in Mass Markets and Public Opinion I wasn't about to argue with a pro in a field new to me. So, on the fly I said, "Magician." Not a bad call, apparently.
So I've been working on the next project a while without a title. As I plotted along, in my head I got to a point of anticipating a scene I may not write for a while (writers do that) because knowing where you're going keeps you on course (writers often need that, else we go a'wandering.)
So, now I have a title.
A Light Between The Heavens.
Now I just have to finish writing it.
