King of Foxes Cover
Ray Posted the following to the list regards King of Foxes
I've seen the rough draft of the US cover. Don't know what the British are doing yet. The US Cover will be similar to Talon in that it's going to be type heavy with a picture of a banner of a fox with a crown in the centre and behind that a relief of troops storming a castle. Mostly red/brown in colour if the rough I got is remotely accurate.

King of Foxes Turned In
Ray posted the following to the list
So, currently, I'm working on The Conclave of Shadows. So, King of Foxes was turned in last week, and after doing a short story with Janny Wurts for a collection edited by Al Sarrantonio, I'll do the author's preferred rewrite of
Prince of the Blood, then I'll go on to the last three Conclave books, Exile's
Return, The Dark Empire, and Magician's Sons.

In response to the question - Is there any news on when bittersea.com will be up & running?
Ray posted to the mailing list the following response
No, not really. John does such an amazing job over at Crydee.com I'm finding little reason to do anything myself. I think maybe I'll turn John's site into the "official" one.

A Message from Neal Halford
This is Neal Halford. I have a titbit of information that I thought might be of interest to Feistfans the world over. 'Swords and Circuitry: A Designer's Guide to Computer Role-Playing Games' hits the streets this week, and thanks to Ray's and Sierra On-line's gracious blessings, I've provided small samples of the game script and design document of 'Betrayal at Krondor' for would-be designers and 'Krondor' players everywhere to enjoy. The book also features an in-depth interview with John Cutter who provided the lead design on BAK, and he and I discuss some of the joys and frustrations we experienced while creating this absolutely one-of-a-kind bestselling game.
Co-written by me and my wife (Jana Halford), 'Swords and Circuitry' is now available through Waldenbooks, B. Dalton, Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Borders, CompUSA, Best Buy, and all other major outlets where books and games are sold. Please feel free to drop by my site at http://Neal.Hallford.com where you can read Chapter 1 of 'Swords and Circuitry' with an Adobe Acrobat Reader, or learn more about this terrific, how-to book now available from Prima Games Development.
